Kierikki is a science centre about the Stone Age, based on archaeological research. It consists of an Ancient Centre and a Stone Age village where prehistory comes to life again.
The exhibitions at the Centre explore the Stone Age and nature. There are also four films about prehistory and archaeological research on the site. You will also find the Pihka shop and café.
In the Stone Age village, you can test your ancient survival skills in ancient skills, and explore the restoration of Stone Age houses. The village's antiquarian guides will tell you about past life and teach you the most important skills. An eternal fire burns in the village, so you can take a picnic break in the glow of a campfire.
Be brave and take a step back.
